The Balinese Room

Vegas Before Vegas

Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1997, then utterly destroyed by Hurricane Ike a scant eleven years later, the Balinese Room was once the most celebrated nightclub—and illegal gambling establishment—in America, the jewel of the Gulf Coast.
